Part-Time Night Shift Floor Nurse (RN or LPN)

Must be available to work every other weekend.

As a Floor Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality nursing care while helping lead and support nursing assistants during your shift.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing direct nursing care and clinical oversight for residents
• Administering medications and treatments as ordered
• Monitoring resident health and communicating changes in condition
• Supervising, directing, and supporting CNAs
• Participating in care planning and resident assessments
• Responding to emergencies and coordinating appropriate care
• Conducting resident rounds and ensuring quality care standards
• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and records
• Supporting admissions, physician visits, and resident/family communication
• Promoting resident dignity, comfort, safety, and well-being
• Ensuring compliance with infection control standards and regulatory requirements
• Assisting with the orientation and development of nursing team members

• Current, unrestricted North Carolina RN or LPN license
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience preferred
• Long-term care experience preferred
• Supervisory experience is a plus
• Passion for serving older adults
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

This position requires the ability to assist residents with mobility and daily care needs, including standing, walking, lifting up to 40 pounds, pushing and pulling wheelchairs, bending, reaching, and performing repetitive movements.
