Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Industrial Sales Manager in the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill Area. The Senior Industrial Sales Manager will be responsible for global industrial/OEM accounts with the tasks of lead generation, engaging in consultative selling, and establishing relationships at all customer levels. Day-to-day tasks include identifying potential customers, managing the sales pipeline, problem solving, and closing deals.
This role requires regular interaction with clients in the manufacturing sectors, understanding their unique needs and providing tailored solutions which can be technical or commercial in nature.
- Strong skills in identifying opportunities and tailoring organizational capabilities to a unique set of customer challenges
- Proven ability to engage with customers at multiple levels, navigate customer's processes and programs, and understand supply chain complexities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team and travel on an as needed basis
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain or a related field
- Experience in the manufacturing, engineering and/or supply chain industry is a must. Commercial Vehicle, Off Highway, Oil & Gas, Locomotive, Automotive, Marine is a plus
