As a Medicare Field Agent, you will act as a trusted advisor to Medicare beneficiaries, meeting with clients face-to-face to walk them through their options, including Medicare Advantage, Supplement, and Prescription Drug Plans. You'll enjoy the freedom to build your own book of business, set your own schedule, and grow your income, all while being supported by an experienced team and modern tools designed to help you succeed.
Responsibilities:
Conduct in-person appointments with Medicare-eligible clients
Educate clients on Medicare Advantage, Supplement, and Prescription Drug Plan options
Serve as a trusted advisor, helping beneficiaries confidently navigate their insurance choices
Complete enrollments accurately and in full compliance with CMS guidelines
Build and maintain a personal book of business
Generate leads through networking, community outreach, and referrals
Create face-to-face connections through grassroots marketing, community events, and in-home visits
Stay current on carrier products and CMS regulations
Deliver a personalized client experience that reflects Ping Health's standards of service
Requirements:
Active Life & Health Insurance License (North Carolina)
Current AHIP Certification Ability to obtain and maintain Errors & Omissions (E&O) Insurance Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset
Comfortable with daily face-to-face interactions in prospective members' homes, at community events, retail environments, or through local organizations and volunteer work
Tech-savvy and comfortable using sales platforms and digital tools
Flexible and willing to work non-traditional hours, especially during the Annual Enrollment Period (AEP)
Previous Medicare sales experience, public speaking or presentation experience, and bilingual ability are a plus, but not required.
