As a Security Officer Driver Credential Check in Gastonia, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic automotive location as an Access Control Officer in a driving post. In this role, you will monitor entry points, verify badges and credentials, conduct routine patrols, and provide outstanding customer service and communication.
You will help to support a professional environment through teamwork, integrity, and a people‑first approach while contributing to daily security‑related operations.

Job Schedule- Mon 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM
- Tue 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM
- Fri 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM
- Sat 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM
- Sun 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, manage visitor check‑in procedures, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating security‑related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, parking areas, and perimeter to observe conditions, report unusual activity, and support site access procedures.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
