Warehouse Maintenance Mechanic

Ingles Markets is looking for a Maintenance Technician for its Distribution Center located in Black Mountain, NC. As a Maintenance Technician, you will:

• Ensure facilities and equipment are maintained and in working order.
• Complete basic plumbing repairs, small scale electrical jobs, troubleshooting, mechanical and electrical repairs.

Compensation Information:

• Pay starting at $19.27/hr., depends on experience.
• Multiple shifts - Certification and shift differential may apply.
• Start earning Paid Time Off day 1 (FT).
• Weekly pay with direct deposit.

Employment Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Will conduct a Criminal Background Check.
• Must pass an E-Verify Screening.
• Valid driver’s license required for operating company service vehicles.

Physical Requirements:

• Varied warehouse environments.
• Standing, sitting, kneeling, crouching, climbing required.
• Must have the ability to operate a forklift.
• Must have the ability to read schematics.

Experience:

• Applicants should have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a good mechanical background, with working knowledge of circuit electricity, plumbing, and basic refrigeration.
• Must want to work and have excellent attendance.
• Must be willing to learn and pay attention to detail.
