Senior Tanker Truck Technician

Welcome to Schneider. We are seeking a Senior Tanker Truck Technician to join our team in Charlotte.

The Senior Tanker Truck Technician will perform major and minor repairs on tanker trailers and tractors. The ideal candidate will have experience working on tanker trailers and tractors.

• Perform major and minor repairs as an experienced Senior Tanker Truck Technician in Charlotte.
• Work on tanker trailers and tractors.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Performing all repairs involving tanker trailers, including some major wreck repair.
• Completing tanker trailer inspections, diagnosis, and work estimations.
• Making decisions on when to repair or replace tanker trailer components that prioritize safety and minimize costs.

To be considered for this role, you will need:

• A minimum of four years of tanker technician experience.
• An Associate's degree in diesel technology or a related field is preferred.
• Mastery of various diesel technician tools, including hand and power tools, cutting and welding torches, frame and body straightening equipment, etc.
• Able to provide recommendations regarding maintenance and repair decisions.
• Able to provide your own tools within 30 days of hire.
