Gastonia NC Water Meter Technician

We are looking for a water meter technician with knowledge of tools and basic plumbing skills.

• In this hands-on field role, you would be responsible for performing a wide variety of duties related to the installation, maintenance, repair, calibration, replacement, testing, and reading of meters

• Interacting with customers inside their homes and businesses regarding meter related issues
• R emoval and replacement of defective outside reading devices
• T esting and calibration of meters
• I nstallation and replacement of meter fittings

• Candidate must be able to pass a Background check
• Candidate Must be able to pass a Motor Vehicle Record(MVR) check
• Candidate must have at least 5 years driving experience.
• Candidate must be able to supply their own basic set of tools (Crescent Wrench, Channel Locks, Drill, Screwdriver Set, 5 Gallon Bucket)
