Maintenance Technician - 2nd shift

Responsibilities

• Performs mechanical maintenance tasks such as preventative maintenance, machine repair, metal fabrication, welding, plumbing, painting and other common maintenance tasks by performing the following duties.
• Maintains electrical systems for equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance system to maximize production time and minimize down time.
• Dismantles machines or equipment, replaces defective parts and motors, and adjusts feed mechanisms.
• Cleans and lubricates machine parts such as shafts, pulleys, gears, and bearings.
• Replaces or repairs machine belts.
• Removes dust, dirt, grease, and waste material from machines.
• Paints machines or equipment to prevent corrosion.
• Bends, cuts, and threads pipe, cuts openings in walls, ceilings, and floors for pipes, and seals pipe joints with sealing compound.
• Assemble, reconfigure or move parts for workstations & other furnishings.
• Patches or replaces plaster board and paints walls, ceilings, and trim of building.
• Clears clogged drains and replaces plumbing fixtures.
• Operates welding machine to repair or join metal parts.
• Cleans work area, tools, and equipment.
• Operates forklifts, boom lifts, scissor lifts as required.
• Performs other routine duties as necessary.
• Troubleshoot control circuits in production equipment.
• Implement electrical/electronic improvements on equipment for better and safer performance.
• Analyzing electronic components and systems to design and develop improvements to PLC systems, mixing processes and production line.
• Evaluating operational systems and recommending design modifications to eliminate causes of malfunctions and improve productivity.
• Repair and maintenance of all electronic and electrical systems of all production operations.
• Perform other duties when requested.

• Tig welding experience perferred.
