Now Hiring Maintenance Mechanic – Direct Hire
Location: Gastonia, NC
Pay Rate: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour
Schedule Options:
- 2nd Shift | Monday – Friday | 2 PM – 10:30 PM
- 3rd Shift | Sunday – Thursday | 10 PM – 6:30 AM

Education Requirements- High school diploma or GED required.
- Forklift certification required or ability to obtain certification.
- Technical training in industrial maintenance, welding, fabrication, or a related field is a plus.
- Minimum of 4 years of industrial maintenance or manufacturing equipment maintenance experience required.
- Experience troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on production equipment.
- TIG welding and hydraulic press experience required.
- Experience with metal fabrication, plumbing repairs, painting, and general facility maintenance preferred.
- Ability to safely operate forklifts, boom lifts, and scissor lifts.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull maintenance tools, equipment, and materials.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, and reaching throughout the workday.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment around moving machinery and equipment.
- Comfortable operating aerial lifts and working in varying indoor conditions.
- Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and maintenance machinery.
- Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime and support production goals.
- Dismantle machinery, replace defective parts, repair motors, adjust feed mechanisms, and replace belts and mechanical components.
- Clean, inspect, lubricate, and maintain equipment including gears, bearings, shafts, and pulleys.
- Perform welding, metal fabrication, and hydraulic press work to repair and modify equipment and facility components.
- Complete plumbing repairs including unclogging drains, replacing fixtures, cutting and threading pipe, and sealing pipe connections.
- Maintain facility appearance by painting equipment, repairing drywall, and completing building maintenance projects.
- Assemble, relocate, and reconfigure workstations, production areas, and facility furnishings as needed.
- Operate forklifts, boom lifts, and scissor lifts safely while following company safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and support continuous improvement, safety, and operational efficiency initiatives.
