Network Wiring Technician / Project Manager

Responsibilities:

• Install, terminate, test, label and document horizontal, backbone, network and control wiring.
• Install cable pathway systems (cable trays, cable racks, J-hooks or D-rings)
• Ability to read blue prints, identify cable paths and some experience with site surveys
• Test low voltage cables and interpret the results
• Installing copper and fiber optic cabling
• Mounting panels, field devices, computers, power supplies
• Dress and route cable into closets and control rooms
• Identifies code issues and non-conformance issues
• Responds and carries out to completion any troubleshooting and repairs
• Ensures assigned installations are completed on‑time and within budget
• Demonstrates understanding of all field safety requirements and understands use and function of all required personal protective equipment
• Some travel involved, up to 25%
• Certifications are a plus

Qualifications:

• Must have 2+ years of Service Technician/Installation experience
• Must be able to pass a drug and background check
• Must have a clean driving record
• Ability to lift 50lbs or more
