The North Carolina Forest Service Aviation Division maintains the Division's aircraft and supports flight crews to assist in wildfire suppression across North Carolina. The Aircraft Mechanic role requires FAA A&P certification, knowledge of fixed and rotary aircraft, and compliance with FARs.
Residency near the Duplin Hangar in Kenansville NC and a valid NC driver's license are required; pre-employment tests and USDOT medicals may be required for CDL-related positions.
