• Take charge of Adult Evaluations, stepping in to make a real difference from day one.
• Be the go-to professional for a range of adult services needs, including follow-up home visits, managing in-home services, evaluating facility complaints, or advocating for persons under guardianship.
• Safely and responsibly transport clients, ensuring their well-being.
• Prepare and deliver reports for court, documenting every contact and treatment plan with precision and clarity.
• Stand as a credible expert witness in court, presenting findings and testifying with professionalism and authority.
• Engage with the public in challenging situations, motivating others and ensuring safety for all involved, especially when laws, rules, or policies differ.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from an accredited school and two years of social work or counseling experience, or
• A Master’s degree in a related field from an accredited school, plus two years of social work or counseling experience, or
• A four-year degree in Human Services or a related field with three years of social work or counseling experience, or
• A Bachelor's degree and four years of experience in rehabilitation, pastoral counseling, or related human services field, with expertise in casework, group work, or community organization.

• A certified college transcript and letter of reference will be required upon request.

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

• A valid North Carolina driver’s license is required, with a clean driving record that aligns with Alamance County policies.
