This role involves protecting vulnerable elderly and/or disabled adults from abuse, neglect, and exploitation. You will work as an SW III with direct impact on families in crisis and opportunities to make a difference in the community.

Responsibilities- Take charge of Adult Evaluations, stepping in to make a real difference from day one.
- Be the go-to professional for a range of adult services needs, including follow-up home visits, managing in-home services, evaluating facility complaints, or advocating for persons under guardianship.
- Safely and responsibly transport clients, ensuring their well-being.
- Prepare and deliver reports for court, documenting every contact and treatment plan with precision and clarity.
- Stand as a credible expert witness in court, presenting findings and testifying with professionalism and authority.
- Engage with the public in challenging situations, motivating others and ensuring safety for all involved, especially when laws, rules, or policies differ.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from an accredited school and two years of social work or counseling experience, or
- A Master’s degree in a related field from an accredited school, plus two years of social work or counseling experience, or
- A four-year degree in Human Services or a related field with three years of social work or counseling experience, or
- A Bachelor's degree and four years of experience in rehabilitation, pastoral counseling, or related human services field, with expertise in casework, group work, or community organization.

Additional Requirements- A certified college transcript and letter of reference will be required upon request.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- A valid North Carolina driver’s license is required, with a clean driving record that aligns with Alamance County policies.
