Job Duties:
This position will assist the Food Service Supervisor, provide support of the facility’s Child Nutrition Program, and will ensure compliance with the Department’s Federal Child Nutrition Program regulations.
- Providing nutritionally adequate meals meeting the federal Child Nutrition Program meal patterns.
- Maintaining required records, reports, and inventories in compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Requisition ing food and supplies as needed.
- Maintaining high standards of personal cleanliness as well as food sanitation.
- Interpreting and following standard recipes and prescribed menus as well as specific oral and written instructions.
- Checking the cost and quality of items received and insure proper storage.
- Complying with policies and procedures of the Department.
- Assuming any responsibilities as designated by the Youth Development Center Food Service Supervisor II, facility business officer, facility director, the Child Nutrition Program Administrator and Child Nutrition Program
