- Independently design, develop, test and maintain complex integration services for Wealth Brokerage and Trust
- Design and develop secure REST APIs, integration services, background processes and reusable .NET/C# components
- Create interface contracts, canonical data structures, validation rules, error models, idempotency controls and versioning approaches
- Implement data integration using SQL Server, stored procedures, data access frameworks, Azure services, messaging, batch processes and SFTP or managed file transfer
- Use Python for targeted data transformation, reconciliation, automation, test utilities and operational tooling
- Apply authentication, authorization, encryption, secrets management, certificate handling, network controls and least-privilege principles
- Build error handling, retry, dead-letter, replay, correlation and reconciliation capabilities
- Develop automated unit, component, contract, integration, performance and regression tests
- Instrument integrations with structured logging, metrics, distributed tracing, dashboards and actionable alerting
- Define operational runbooks and support procedures
- Establish data mappings, quality rules, lineage, retention and authoritative-source expectations with data owners and consumers
- Analyze and tune API, database, messaging and batch performance
- Collaborate with architecture and platform teams on cloud migration, Azure PaaS patterns, network connectivity, deployment pipelines and reusable integration standards
- Troubleshoot complex defects and production incidents; complete root-cause analysis and corrective actions
- Participate throughout the software development lifecycle from refinement and design reviews through deployment, release validation and production support
- Lead code and design reviews, mentor junior engineers and contribute patterns, libraries and documentation across Wealth Technology
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field with 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent education and training
- In-depth knowledge of information systems
- Ability to identify, apply, and implement IT best practices
- Advanced development of APIs, services, background workers and integration components using .NET and C#
- RESTful design, OpenAPI contracts, versioning, pagination, idempotency, throttling, security, consumer compatibility and lifecycle management
- SQL Server data modelling, querying, performance tuning, transactions, reconciliation, data-quality controls and application-service integration
- Practical use of Microsoft Azure PaaS, API, messaging, identity, secrets, monitoring, storage and deployment capabilities
- Data integration skills including mapping, transformation, validation, enrichment, lineage, reference data, batch orchestration and recoverable exception processing
- Asynchronous integration using queues or topics, delivery semantics, correlation, ordering, replay and dead-letter handling
- Secure SFTP or managed file transfer, encryption, naming and control totals, acknowledgements, reconciliation and vendor interface support
- Python for transformation, validation, reconciliation, automation, test harnesses and operational utilities
- Working knowledge of Node.js services and AWS capabilities
- Dev Sec Ops , source control, CI/CD, infrastructure and configuration discipline, automated testing, vulnerability remediation, observability and controlled release
- Preferred: experience in Wealth, Brokerage, Trust, banking, financial services or another highly regulated industry
- Preferred: experience integrating third-party platforms using APIs, messaging, SFTP, batch files or vendor-specific interfaces
- Preferred: experience with Azure API Management, Functions, App Service, Service Bus, Key Vault, Monitor or equivalent enterprise capabilities
- Preferred: experience with Python, data reconciliation, observability, performance testing and automated contract testing
- Preferred: experience with low-code or workflow platforms
- Preferred:
Microsoft Azure, .NET, API, data engineering or security certification
