Kickstart your career with 2K’s Engineering Graduate Program.Program Overview
The Engineering Graduate Program starts July 2027. Based out of our Dublin, Vancouver and US offices, launch your career in game development over a 21 month period.
- Foundation Training (3 Months): Master game development fundamentals using industry-standard engines, engage in instructor‑led projects, receive guided feedback & reviews, and develop essential soft skills for working in a studio environment.
- Studio Rotations (18 Months): Complete 3 rotations across 2K studios (such as Hangar 13, Visual Concepts, Firaxis, HB Studios, Gearbox, and more), contributing directly to AAA titles.
What You Will Do
- Collaborate with multi‑disciplinary engineering teams to build and support game features across our titles.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, primarily in C++ & in the Unreal Engine.
- Participate in instructor‑led group projects, technical workshops, and guided reviews.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize systems across diverse engineering platforms and game engines.
- Adapt quickly to varied studio workflows, version control tools (e.g., Perforce), and game release timelines.
Who You Are
- Graduated between January 2025 and July 2027 with a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, C#, or Python.
- Experience with the use of Unreal Engine, which will be evaluated during the assessment process.
- Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and software design patterns.
- Solid debugging, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities with strong attention to detail.
- Proactive, curious learner with a genuine passion for gaming and technology.
