Golf Cart Attendant

Rumbling Bald on Lake Lure is now accepting applications for a Golf Cart Attendant. In this highly visible role, you will provide bag, cart, and driving range services to members and guests while helping create a welcoming, first-class golf experience.

As a Rumbling Bald Associate, you’ll also enjoy access to onsite amenities, free golf, and Associate discounts on food, spa services, boat rentals, and merchandise.

• Greet members and guests and ensure they have an enjoyable experience.
• Operate the front cart area in the highest professional manner.
• Assure the orderly flow of play in accordance with the posted tee times. Rotate players as needed to ensure the flow of play.
• Check with the golf shop for any unusual or special instructions, such as cart paths only, etc.
• Make sure all equipment; radio, cart, etc. are working correctly.
• Post the conditions of play for the day.
• Assist customers with finding a game when necessary.
• Maintain an adequate supply of scorecards, pencils, tees, ball markers, etc. at the first tee and in other locations on the course as needed.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent customer service, communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, drive and motivation.
• Flexible schedule with ability to work evenings and weekends, if required.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license without restrictions that would limit fulfillment of the essential job duties.
• Golf experience or knowledge of the game required.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:

• talk, hear and speak with others using clear and professional language;
• endure long periods of driving, sitting, standing or walking in a hot, humid environment;
• move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance on an occasional basis;
• reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, climbing and stooping and use hands and fingers to handle or feel; and drive vehicle for performance of duties.
