Warehouse Associate

Description We are looking for a dependable Warehouse Associate to support daily shipping, receiving, and inventory activities in Gastonia, North Carolina. This contract opportunity with permanent potential is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, stays organized in a fast-paced setting, and takes pride in maintaining an efficient warehouse operation. The person in this role will help move product accurately, assist with inbound and outbound orders, and contribute to a clean and orderly workspace.

Responsibilities:

- Select and prepare apparel orders by using packing documentation to locate, gather, and organize items for shipment.

- Receive incoming product and verify quantities and condition to support accurate order processing and inventory records.

- Unload containers and trucks safely and efficiently while handling merchandise with care.

- Pack and label outgoing shipments using shipping platforms such as Fed Ex and related warehouse systems.

- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly warehouse environment throughout the workday.

- Support shipping and receiving workflows by moving products to the correct staging, storage, or packing areas.

- Assist with inventory tracking, cycle counts, and physical inventory activities to help maintain stock accuracy.

- Work closely with warehouse leadership and team members to complete daily priorities and meet operational goals. Requirements - Previous experience in warehouse, shipping and receiving, logistics, or a similar distribution environment.

- Ability to lift, move, and unload merchandise safely as part of regular job duties.

- Familiarity with small-package shipping processes and carriers such as Fed Ex or UPS.

- Basic computer proficiency for entering shipment details, reviewing order information, and using warehouse-related systems.

- Strong attention to detail when picking, checking, and packing orders.

- Ability to work effectively in a warehouse environment without climate control.

- Dependable attendance, a strong work ethic, and the ability to collaborate with a small team. Talent Match®
