Maintenance Electrician

TXM Recruit are currently recruiting for a mobile Electrically biased Maintenance Electrician to work for one of the UK's leading facilities companies on one of their commercial contracts.

• Schedule:
  
  Monday to Sunday, 40 hrs per week (5 days on, 2 days off, rotating shift pattern)
• On Call: 1 in 4 weeks (Friday–Friday, emergencies only)
• Salary: £36,631 per year + door‑to‑door allowance
• Location:
  
  Gateshead, with emergency callouts 1x Glasgow, 1x Edinburgh, 1x Aberdeen

• Perform Electrical PPM and reactive maintenance across designated sites with focus on plumbing and electrics
• Conduct 3‑phase circuit testing, verify polarity, and perform final fault finding
• Complete tasks such as emergency light testing, fire alarm checks, lamp changes, basic plumbing, and fabric work
• Carry out repairs across electrical and mechanical systems, including AHUs and other system repairs
• Provide support with general fabric work and minor repairs without the facility
• Assist with lighting and power upgrades and circuit board repairs

• Door‑to‑door pay for travel time
• Company van (personal use option from Day
  1) and fuel card
