HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 OTE
Shift: Nights
- Tuesday to Friday, 7:00pm - 7:00am (46 hours per week)

We are looking for a HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter to join the night shift at our client's Blaydon workshop, a long-established commercial vehicle dealership group.
Job Responsibilities:- Carrying out planned maintenance and servicing on trucks and trailers.
- Fast and accurate diagnostics and fault finding using diagnostic tools.
- Mechanical and electrical repairs, working independently.
- Vehicle inspections and compliance checks (MOT, tacho, etc.).
- Final checks on completed work.
- Time-served HGV Technician or equivalent (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 preferred)
- Proven experience repairing and maintaining trucks and components
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Own tools preferred
- Valid driving licence
- Permanent role with job security
