We are seeking a diligent, hands‑on Senior Accountant/Accounting Manager to join our team (limited travel to Gatesville, TX, for work meetings) to manage day‑to‑day accounting operations with a strong emphasis on cost accounting and inventory control. This role is critical to ensuring accurate product costing, inventory valuation, and financial reporting in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of hands‑on accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or production setting, and is comfortable working cross‑functionally with operations, production, and supply chain teams.

Key Responsibilities- Execution & Bookkeeping:
In partnership with the CFO, support the day‑to‑day accounting operations, maintaining clean and accurate financial records. - AR & AP Leadership:
Lead the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions, ensuring timely invoicing, collections, and vendor payments. - Inventory & Costing:
Accurately track, manage, and report on inventory and labor costs withinour manufacturing environment. - Month-End Close:
Perform fundamental account reconciliations, general ledger maintenance, and standard month-end close processes. - Reporting:
Produce consistent, accurate financial reporting and dashboard metrics based on established reporting rhythms for company management and our operating partner, Arch Star. - Process Automation:
Embrace and help advance automated, remote‑friendly processes to ensureteam members can seamlessly and securely access necessary information.
- Experience:
3-5 years of strong accounting experience is our primary target, though we highlyvalue seasoned professionals who prefer direct, hands‑on work. - Industry Knowledge:
Hands‑on experience in the manufacturing industry, specifically managing inventory and labor costs, is highly preferred. - Education/
Certifications:
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred. - Technical
Skills:
Strong working knowledge of standard accounting software (Quick Books experience is highly valuable) and MS Office, particularly Excel. - Work Style:
You must be highly comfortable functioning as an individual contributor, managingdetailed tasks directly without relying on a support staff.
