• Prepare the operating room for surgical procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and supplies are sterile and readily available.
• Assist in positioning patients appropriately for surgery, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the procedure.
• Pass instruments and supplies to surgeons and assist with the maintenance of a sterile field during operations.
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and provide the required instruments or supplies in a timely manner.
• Monitor the patient's vital signs and comfort level during procedures, reporting any concerns to the medical team immediately.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of surgical procedures, instrument counts, and other relevant documentation as required.
• Participate in the disinfection and sterilization of instruments and ensure the proper cleaning of the surgical environment post‑procedure.

• Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) from an accredited agency.
• Previous experience in a surgical setting is preferred, with a strong understanding of surgical procedures and techniques.
• Knowledge of basic surgical instruments, sterile processing, and infection control measures.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain focus in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals.
• Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods, along with the ability to lift and move patients as required.
