- Assist with the planning and implementation of recreational and therapeutic activities for patients.
- Facilitate transportation of patients to various hospital departments and appointments in a safe and timely manner.
- Engage with patients during activities to encourage participation and promote social interaction.
- Monitor and document patient participation and well‑being during activities and provide feedback to healthcare staff.
- Collaborate with nursing and care teams to ensure that patient needs are met during activities and transportation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of activity areas and transportation equipment.
- Respond to patient queries and concerns in a compassionate and friendly manner.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare or a related field is a plus.
- Current CPR certification and a clean driving record.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting or with patient support activities preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and with diverse populations.
- Basic knowledge of healthcare protocols and patient assistance techniques.
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients and their families.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
