- Administer medications to patients as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patients' responses to medications and report any adverse effects.
- Assist patients with daily living activities when necessary.
- Document medication administration and any changes in patient status accurately.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare team members regarding patients' needs and medication concerns.
- Educate patients and their families about medication management and potential side effects.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment in accordance with health regulations.
- Certified Medication Aide (CMA) in the State of Texas.
- Previous clinical experience is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; must be able to write legibly.
- Excellent physical and mental health; capable of performing physical tasks required in patient care.
- Ability to work effectively under close supervision and follow both verbal and written instructions accurately.
