Job DescriptionTD Wealth takes a sophisticated approach to wealth planning and protection, delivering personalized advice and solutions to clients. The Financial Planning team focuses on relationship management, advice, and business development to support clients in meeting their financial goals.
Responsibilities- Identify clients' life and financial goals, provide comprehensive reviews, and build long-term relationships through financial planning expertise.
- Conduct reporting and analysis, drawing conclusions and making recommendations to continuously assess program effectiveness.
- Contribute to team and department goals while enhancing customer service and dedication.
- Monitor service productivity, assess efficiency, and implement continuous improvements.
- Remain knowledgeable of best practices and stay ahead of emerging trends.
- Provide mentorship, assistance and direction to others.
- Maintain a culture of risk management and control, aligned with risk appetite.
- Diploma in financial planning from the Institute of Financial Planning (IPF) required prior to start date.
- Willingness to obtain Registered Representative (RR) licensing with the Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization (CIRO) if not currently licensed.
- 3 to 5 years of banking experience.
- Bilingualism in English and French required to serve clients.
- Deep understanding of industry trends, competitive landscape, and economic market issues.
- Strong communication skills, ability to work collaboratively and independently, and build relationships.
- Passion for financial planning and dedication to helping clients reach life and financial goals.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and experience in prospecting external business development opportunities through networking.
- Excellent people and problem‑solving skills for building and maintaining client relationships.
