Brookfield Renewable Structured Transactions Analyst

Become a key player as a Structured Transactions Analyst at Brookfield Renewable, overseeing energy market settlements and driving process improvements in a collaborative environment.

This 12-month position reports to the Manager of Settlement and Structured Transactions. You will validate accounting entries, improve settlement charge code algorithms, and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.

Your role includes proactive analysis and collaboration with departments to enhance reporting accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete daily and monthly energy settlement tasks

• Validate month-end accruals and invoices for accuracy

• Conduct market research to inform settlement practices

• Collaborate to resolve settlement disputes effectively

• Analyze and propose enhancements to existing processes

Requirements:

• Degree in Business, Finance, or Economics

• Two years of relevant industry experience

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Self-starting ability in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent written and oral communication skills
