Structured Transactions Analyst

Elevate your career as a Structured Transactions Analyst in Gatineau, with a hybrid work model that includes one day remote. This role focuses on settlements, market analysis, and reporting.

We are seeking an Analyst for Settlement & Structured Transactions to fulfill a 12-month contract. This role requires expertise in analyzing settlement processes, conducting financial research, and validating accounting tasks. Strong focus on regulatory reporting and dispute resolution with stakeholders will be essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete daily and monthly settlement tasks accurately

• Research market rules impacting settlements and revenues

• Optimize current settlement processes and reports

• Provide accurate regulatory reporting to agencies

• Collaborate with departments to resolve settlement disputes

Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree in Business Administration or Economics

• Minimum two years of relevant experience in energy

• Advanced Excel skills including macros and pivot tables

• Knowledge of structured transaction agreements

• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
