Summary

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Coordinator to join our reputable client’s dynamic team.

Job Description:
As an HR Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the company’s human resources functions. You will ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations according to Quebec standards, maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, and provide exceptional support to our staff.

    Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 5 pm
  • Starting salary: $55, – 60, per year
  • Job responsibilites

  • Maintain and update employee records, including new hires, terminations, and changes in employee status
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices
  • Handle employee inquiries regarding benefits, and HR policies and procedures
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
  • Conduct regular audits of benefits and other HR programs to ensure compliance and accuracy
  • Provide guidance and support to management on HR-related issues and employee relations matters
  • Assist with recruiting and onboarding processes as needed
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure the security of employee information
  • Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in HR and payroll, with a strong understanding of HR practices and principles
  • Extensive knowledge of Quebec laws and regulations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with integrity and confidentiality
  • Experience with unions is an asset
  • Bilingualism is a must
