SUMMARY
The Tenant Services Coordinator supports BGIS clients by coordinating the delivery of small-scale maintenance projects, workspace changes, design services, and office services. This role also involves resolving tenant issues related to tenant service projects, and managing scope, specifications, tendering, financial administration, and contractor performance monitoring for tenant service and base building projects.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Receive, process, and validate service requests via telephone, e-mail, and in person, maintaining service call/work order tracking.Coordinate BGIS and subcontracted forces to deliver tenant services within the scope of the role.Assist Facility Managers in delivering small-scale tenant service projects by determining required skills, selecting contractors, monitoring performance, budget, quality control, and work assignment.Review contract work, report discrepancies to the Facility Manager, and request Purchase Orders.Interpret client work processes, workplace culture, and policies for effective service delivery.Perform other duties as assigned.Knowledge & Skills
High school diploma plus specialized technical or business training.1 to 3 years of relevant experience.Effective interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).Knowledge of project delivery and tendering processes.General understanding of commercial building systems and construction.Strong organizational, coordination, and documentation skills, with the ability to multitask.Ability to work independently.Ability to interpret contracts as needed.Proficiency with CAD is an asset.Relevant experience in facility management, infrastructure, or related sectors.Proficiency with MS Office and email software.Licenses and/or Professional Accreditation
- Valid driver’s license (as required).
