Bioitalia is well established in Canada and is now expanding further across North America following a major rebrand. This is a foundational moment for the brand, and we’re looking for someone to help shape how Bioitalia shows up online as we grow in both Canada and the US.
About the RoleWe’re hiring a Founding Social & Content Manager to own Bioitalia’s social presence as we expand across Canada and the United States. This is a part-time, hands-on role with real creative ownership.
You’ll be responsible for building our social channels from the ground up. That means setting the tone, shaping the content, and growing an engaged community around real food, culture, and integrity.
This is a startup-style role. There’s no big team and no playbook. We’re looking for someone who enjoys building, experimenting, and taking ownership.
What You’ll Do- Own Bioitalia’s social channels end to end, primarily Instagram and Tik Tok
- Define content pillars and build a monthly content calendar
- Concept, shoot, edit, caption, and publish original content
- Translate brand values into clear, compelling storytelling around food, process, culture, and people
- Spot trends and adapt them in a way that feels authentic, not forced
- Engage with the community daily through comments and DMs
- Track performance, test formats, and iterate based on what resonates
- 3 to 6+ years experience managing social for a brand, startup, or food or lifestyle company
- You’ve helped grow a brand, startup, or personal project from early days to a meaningful following
- Strong instincts for short-form video and storytelling
- Confident filming and editing content yourself
- Excellent writing skills with a natural, thoughtful tone of voice
- Deep understanding of Instagram and Tik Tok culture
- Genuine passion for real food, quality ingredients, and brands with integrity
- A builder role with real influence on brand voice
- Not a purely executional or approval heavy corporate role
- Not for someone looking for a plug and play brand or a large content team
- Part-time or freelance
- Approx. 15 to 20 hours per week to start
- Remote, open to candidates based in Canada or the United States
- Opportunity to grow the role as the brand scales
