Our client provides machines, equipment and supplies for the packaging and container manufacturing industry. They are looking for a Outside Technical Sales Representative to drive business developement.
Identify and pursue potential customers in the food processing industry;Develop and implement sales strategies to reach and expand customer base;Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers;Conduct regular customer visits and provide on-site product demonstrations;Work closely with service technicians to provide technical support;Maintain in-depth knowledge of the company's product line;Negotiate contracts and finalize sales agreements;Manage sales pipeline and maintain accurate records in CRM system;Collaborate with engineering and product development teams;Attend trade shows, conferences and industry events.Requirements:
Diploma in Engineering, or equivalent experience;3 to 5 years of experience in machinery sales in the food processing industry;Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications;Ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner;Excellent relationship building and customer service skills;Demonstrated negotiation and closing experience;Available to travel throughout Quebec and Ontario;Driver's license and access to a car (car allowance provided);Bilingual.
