Journeyman Refrigeration Mechanic

Completed at least some secondary school

Vetted HVAC Services Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Journeyman Refrigeration Mechanic to join our team. As a Journeyman Refrigeration Mechanic, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing refrigeration systems in residential and commercial settings.

• Perform installations, repairs, and maintenance of refrigeration systems, including but not limited to walk-in coolers, freezers, HVAC units, and ice machines.
• Conduct diagnostic tests and inspections to identify and resolve issues promptly.
• Repair or replace defective components and parts.
• Perform routine maintenance to ensure the optimal performance and efficiency of refrigeration systems.
• Follow safety protocols and adhere to industry regulations while handling refrigerants.
• Collaborate with team members and provide technical guidance when necessary.
• Keep accurate records of service performed, materials used, and time spent on each job.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and answering their questions.

• Valid Journeyman Refrigeration Mechanic certification.
• Proven experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing refrigeration systems.
• In-depth knowledge of refrigeration principles, components, and tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job, including lifting heavy equipment and working in various environments.
