PAY RANGE: $19.00 - $21.00/ Hour, Based on Experience

CIVIL SERVICE TITLE(S): Student Behavioral Assistant/Teacher Aide/School Aide

TYPICAL DUTIES:

• Provide individual and small group instruction to students in all instructional areas.
• Provide instructional leadership in the teacher's absence.
• Assist in the planning of instruction for the program.
• Provide students with assessments and feedback daily as part of the instructional programs.
• Function as a team member for the WEMOCO teaching staff.

Minimum two (2) years' experience/training in Carpentry, Heavy Equipment Operation Maintenance, Outdoor Powersports, Welding or Criminal Justice

Must possess or meet requirements for Civil Service title of Student Behavioral Assistant, Teacher Aide, or School Aide.

No education or experience qualifications;

Graduation from high school or possession of an equivalency diploma

Two (2) years of full-time paid or the part-time equivalent experience involving the supervision, counseling or instruction of children in a school facility, institution or agency devoted to the care, education, rehabilitation or detention of children; OR Graduation from a regionally accredited or NYS registered college or university with an Associate's degree or completion of 60 credit hours.
