Travel Med Surg RN
This is an 8-week contract position.
Night shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, with alternating weekends.
The Travel Med Surg RN will provide comprehensive patient care in a medical-surgical setting, ensuring adherence to the highest nursing standards while managing a patient ratio of 6:1. The nurse will apply clinical skills in a travel capacity, supporting facilities as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Coordinate patient care with other healthcare team members.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions and report changes.
- Document patient information and care provided accurately.
- Provide education and support to patients and families.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Active RN license in the state of practice.
- BLS certification.
- Experience with Cerner EMR is preferred.
- Permanent address must be 50 miles or more from the facility.
- A minimum of 1 year of Med Surg experience is required.
