PRESCHOOL LEAD TEACHER

JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for highly motivated individuals willing to provide a quality preschool educational experience that establishes a foundation for future educational success.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field
• Successful experience working with preschool-age children.
• Ability to interact and communicate with children to promote positive self-esteem, problem solving skills, and critical thinking abilities.
• Ability to collaborate with a team of educators.
• Knowledge of/experience with Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS) and the Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Implement developmentally appropriate instruction using research-based curriculum, assessments, and developmental screeners
• Ensure the safety of all children through constant supervision
• Plan and implement activities to meet the physical, social, emotional, and intellectual needs of the children in the program, based on their individual development
• Provide weekly schedules of activities
• Communicate and engage with families daily and weekly through newsletters, conferences, and home visits
• Develop activities that introduce early math and literacy concepts
• Establish routines and provide positive guidance
• Discuss children's development with parents
• Implement a variety of curriculum tools during small and large group learning time
• Other duties as assigned

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

• Wage Range
  : $26.93-$30.59
• Work Schedule:
  
  8 hours per day for all days that students are in session plus additional work days as determined by administration
• Single subscriber medical coverage
