PRESCHOOL LEAD TEACHER
JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for highly motivated individuals willing to provide a quality preschool educational experience that establishes a foundation for future educational success.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field
- Successful experience working with preschool-age children.
- Ability to interact and communicate with children to promote positive self-esteem, problem solving skills, and critical thinking abilities.
- Ability to collaborate with a team of educators.
- Knowledge of/experience with Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS) and the Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Implement developmentally appropriate instruction using research-based curriculum, assessments, and developmental screeners
- Ensure the safety of all children through constant supervision
- Plan and implement activities to meet the physical, social, emotional, and intellectual needs of the children in the program, based on their individual development
- Provide weekly schedules of activities
- Communicate and engage with families daily and weekly through newsletters, conferences, and home visits
- Develop activities that introduce early math and literacy concepts
- Establish routines and provide positive guidance
- Discuss children's development with parents
- Implement a variety of curriculum tools during small and large group learning time
- Other duties as assigned
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
- Wage Range
: $26.93-$30.59 - Work Schedule:
8 hours per day for all days that students are in session plus additional work days as determined by administration - Single subscriber medical coverage
