Job Description: Summit Mfg. Corp. is seeking qualified welders to join our growing welding team on day and night shift
. The ideal candidate will have experience in MIG welding processes, a basic knowledge of reading prints, the ability to weld in multiple positions, and the competency to set up their welding machine and space. Welding certification is preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform MIG welding tasks in various positions.
  • Set up and maintain welding machines and work spaces.
  • Read and interpret prints to ensure accurate welding.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve welding processes and efficiency.
  • Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

Skills Needed:

  • Proficiency in MIG welding processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret prints.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.

Knowledge

Required:

  • Understanding of welding technology, including various welding processes.
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures in a welding environment.

Ability to Implement:

  • Ability to perform welding tasks in multiple positions.
  • Capability to set up and maintain welding machines and work spaces.
  • Skill in reading and interpreting prints accurately.
  • Competitive pay starting at $18 to $22 per hour, based on experience and ability to pass a hands-on “Welding Test” in the MIG welding process.
