We are seeking an Advanced Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanic at our Gaylord, MI location. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty diesel engines and related systems. This role requires strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in heavy-duty diesel engines
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on diesel equipment
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with fuel systems, transmissions, and hydraulic systems
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic or similar role
  • Experience in driveline, trailers, brakes, and clutches
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems and components
  • Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Valid driver’s license; relevant certifications preferred
