Bravida Medical is hiring a Senior Accountant, a key contributor to our financial excellence, playing a vital role in delivering accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting.
This role is at the heart of the month-end close process, partnering closely with the business to prepare account reconciliations, journal entries, and cash-related activities, while supporting regulatory and compliance reporting.
Working cross-functionally with teams such as Accounts Payable, Payroll, FP&A, and operational leaders, the Senior Accountant ensures financial transactions are recorded with precision and in accordance with GAAP and internal control standards. This is a hands‑on role for a detail‑oriented professional who enjoys collaboration, problem‑solving, and making a direct impact on the integrity of financial reporting and the insights that drive business decisions.
This role reports to the Vice President, Finance/Corporate Controller.
As a Senior Accountant your responsibilities will include:
- Lead key parts of the month-end close, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and analytical reviews that ensure accurate financial results.
- Manage cash and treasury activities such as bank and merchant reconciliations, ACH and wire payments, and cash forecasting to keep the business running smoothly.
- Own fixed, intangible, and intercompany accounting, ensuring transactions are recorded accurately and consistently.
- Support audits, tax filings, and compliance requirements by preparing documentation and partnering with internal and external stakeholders.
- Continuously look for ways to improve processes, strengthen controls, and make accounting operations more efficient and scalable.

Qualified candidates will have:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting (required). Master's degree or CPA (a plus).
- 57 years of related accounting experience.
- Strong technical accounting (GAAP), month-end close, journal entries/accruals, balance sheet reconciliations/variance investigation, cash management and bank reconciliations; excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail; proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software; ability to prepare tax reports.
- Candidates must currently possess unrestricted authorization to work in the United States. Work visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
What will set you apart:
- Experience with SAP by Design ERP.
- Multi‑entity accounting and intercompany transactions; full balance sheet and P&L responsibility; audit support; manufacturing/distribution or inventory-related accounting (GR/IR, WIP) a plus; experience in private equity–sponsored company.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment and distribution experience.
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand and walk to communicate and listen effectively. This will require both office and plant environments.
There is potential for a discretionary bonus, with a target of up to 10%. This bonus is based on company performance and is not a guaranteed bonus plan.
