Our client, an established semi-custom home builder in the Geneva, IL area, is seeking a Purchasing Agent to join their growing team.
In this role, you'll manage purchasing and estimating for residential communities, including takeoffs, bid analysis, vendor negotiations, purchase orders, and cost analysis. You'll work closely with construction, estimating, and trade partners to help deliver high-quality homes on time and within budget.
Qualifications- 1–5 years of purchasing and/or estimating experience
- Experience with takeoffs, estimating, vendor negotiations, and cost analysis
- Residential construction experience preferred; custom homebuilding or remodeling experience is also transferable
- Experience with BuilderMT preferred
- Experience with ECI/Mark Systems is a plus
