Library Associate, Programming; Part-Time, Limited

We’re seeking a proactive and dynamic team player to join our Public Services team and help us grow and expand our already robust lineup of programming. Successful candidates will be well organized, have strong attention to detail, and enjoy providing service at the level of WOW!

• Work collaboratively to curate a strong line‑up of presenter‑led programming.
• Develop and facilitate library services and adult programming by contracting external presenters and performers.
• Assist customers at busy public service points within the Library with reference, reader’s advisory, and electronic resources.
• Track and process attendance data and evaluate program outcomes to inform future programming decisions.
• Stay informed on current and emerging programming trends to enhance offerings and customer experience.

• Associate’s degree or equivalent level of experience.
• 2 years of related public library experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent planning skills, attention to detail, and time‑management skills.
• Ability to use and troubleshoot building technology such as computers, AV systems, and assistive devices.
