Pay or shift range: $23.15 USD to $31.32 USD. The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job‑related reasons.
DescriptionAmsted Automotive Powder Metal Division in Geneva, IL is looking for a Technician (Press Set‑Up). This position is responsible for setting up powder metal presses and troubleshooting on machines, tooling and processes in the department on the 2nd shift (2:30pm-11pm).
WHAT YOU’LL DOMinimum Qualifications:
- Education:
High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience that provides the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities. Must successfully complete the pre‑hire math test. - Experience:
A minimum of 4 years previous experience in grinding machine operation or machining in a department/cell/focused factory is required. - Skills & Knowledge:
Forklift operation, tool and die.

Working Conditions

Work is performed in a typical manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, heat, dust, dirt, oil and grease, with several elements continuously present to the extent of being objectionable. Full‑time position. May require some overtime and weekend work.
