Machine Operator - 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift

The Machine Operator performs set‑ups, makes minor adjustments, and operates packaging equipment. The operator identifies acceptable or unacceptable product quality per customer requirements, performs wash and changeover of equipment, and ensures compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) at all times.

• Perform accurate set‑ups on equipment in preparation for specific product runs.
• Operate equipment and adjust as necessary to ensure proper operation and meeting quality specifications.
• Inspect and test packages, and document results to ensure proper operation and quality specifications.
• Stage and check required materials for quick and accurate changeovers in production.
• Complete and assemble all required documentation associated with the position.
• Maintain the work area in a clean and organized manner.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must be knowledgeable in GMPs and the HACCP program or willing to learn.
• Sufficient math skills to calculate quantities of material required for orders being run.
• Good organizational and communication skills to prioritize work and communicate changes to line workers.
• Must have the ability to handle small tools.
• Must have the ability to understand and follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Ability to read and write in English preferred.

• Manufacturing environment – exposure to a variety of machines, noise levels, and varying temperatures.
• Depending on the location, the environments can be very warm or refrigerated.
• Team environment – must be able to work well with others and communicate respectfully and professionally.
• Ability to stand up to 80% of the scheduled time.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs. unassisted and 40–75 lbs. assisted.
• Must be able to work necessary overtime based on staffing needs and customer demand, as well as across shifts.

Starting Pay:
Machine Operator Level I $20.30/hr., Machine Operator Level II $22.25/hr., a shift differential is offered for 2nd and 3rd shift opportunities. Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job‑related skills, and relevant education or training. The position is eligible for a discretionary annual incentive based on company and individual performance. We offer a comprehensive benefits package for full‑time employees including health, dental, 401k, and wellness benefits beginning on the 90th day of employment.
