Production Associate - Plating Process Technician
Full Time Regular Clerical Argentum Medical, Geneva, IL, US
Requisition
• Salary Range: $20.00 To $25.00 Hourly
- Setup, operate, maintain and document manufacturing, maintenance and calibration activities associated with medical device manufacturing equipment including: reverse osmosis system, sensitizing system, metallizing equipment, commercial washer/dryer machines, wastewater treatment & facility/building equipment (HVAC systems, compressors, lighting, emergency equipment).
- Comply with OSHA regulations with regard to personal protective equipment, including the ability to pass a seal fit test with an OSHA compliant full-face respirator.
- Maintain compliance with local and federal ordinances with regard to waste sampling, disposal and reporting.
- Acquire a Class K wastewater pretreatment operator’s license. Training and testing will be provided.
- Perform simple mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and document objective process evidence in English.
- Provide input on process improvements with regard to safety, quality, delivery and cost.
- Participate in safety and compliance (QMS) training as directed by department management.
- Assist with equipment factory/site acceptance testing (FAT/SAT), commissioning and validation when necessary.
Experience
- None required but 2 years of work experience in a QMS-regulated industry is preferred.
- Successful track record working in a matrix/collaborative environment if applicable.
Education
- High school diploma, GED equivalent or at least 2 years of experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
Travel, Work Environment and Physical Demands
Travel:
On-site work at the Geneva campus.
Work Environment:
Typical production, warehouse, and/or office areas; temperature controlled. Exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, and airborne particulates. PPE provided where required. Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds. Vision requirements and other physical functions may apply as described in the role.
