Overnight Registered Nurse (RN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

The RN/LPN provides compassionate, person-centered nursing care to adults with developmental disabilities living in a residential setting severe and profound. This role includes monitoring health conditions, administering medications and treatments, coordinating care with physicians and interdisciplinary team members, and supporting direct care staff to ensure the health, safety, and well‑being of all residents.

• Provide daily nursing care according to individualized care plans.
• Perform assessments, monitor vital signs, and observe for health changes.
• Administer medications, injections, and treatments per physician orders.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation including MARs and progress notes.
• Respond to medical emergencies following facility protocols.
• Communicate with physicians, therapists, pharmacies, and families.
• Assist with scheduling and preparing residents for medical appointments.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and care plan development.
• Train and support direct support professionals on health-related tasks.
• Ensure staff understand medical needs, dietary considerations, and emergency protocols.
• Follow state, federal, and facility regulations including HIPAA.
• Maintain infection control and safe medication storage/administration.
• Report signs of abuse, neglect, or unusual incidents according to policy.

• Current RN or LPN license in the state of employment.
• Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
