Salary range: $37.00 - $59.20 hourly. Placement within the range depends on several factors such as relevant work experience and internal equity, while union positions follow their collective bargaining agreement.

The schedule for this position is three 12‑hour shifts, 7 p.m. – 7:30 a.m., Friday to Sunday nights.
The Weekend Registered Nurse Inpatient reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM. The role follows the organization’s code of ethics and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines, and regulatory and accreditation standards.
Responsibilities- Clinically competent registered nurse who prescribes, delegates, and coordinates nursing care to the acutely ill patient through assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation.
- Effectively interact with patient, significant others, and other health team members while maintaining ANA standards of professional nursing practice.
- Collect and analyze data, identify expected outcomes, develop and implement an individualized plan, coordinate care delivery, and evaluate progress toward outcome attainment.
- Direct care and determine appropriate utilization of any assistants involved in providing direct patient care.
- Collaborate with patient, family, physicians, and ancillary staff to create a documented plan focused on outcomes and decisions related to care delivery and staff communications.
- Participate in shared governance, committee work, and unit projects.
- Evaluate and document the patient’s responses to nursing interventions in the health record and properly individualize the plan of care based on evaluation of findings.
- Utilize the best available evidence, including research findings, to guide practice decisions.
Required:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Current State of Illinois Registered Professional Nurse
- Basic Life Support
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate with others
- Strong analytic abilities
Preferred:
- Experience in acute inpatient care
