Hourly Rate: $34.50 - $55.20. Placement within the range is based on relevant work experience, internal equity, and, for unionized positions, collective bargaining agreement guidelines.

The position requires a schedule of three 12‑hour shifts (7 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.) with every third weekend (Friday and Saturday nights) and rotating holidays.
The Registered Nurse Inpatient is a clinical professional who prescribes, delegates, and coordinates nursing care for acutely ill patients, follows the nursing process, and maintains ANA professional standards.
Responsibilities- Collect and analyze data, identify expected outcomes, develop and implement individualized care plans, coordinate care delivery, and evaluate progress toward outcomes.
- Direct care and determine appropriate utilization of assistants involved in providing direct patient care.
- Collaborate with patient, family, physicians, and ancillary staff to create documented plans focused on outcomes and decision-making.
- Participate in shared governance, committee work, and unit projects.
- Evaluate and document patient responses to nursing interventions in the health record, adjusting the plan of care accordingly.
- Utilize the best available evidence, including research findings, to guide practice decisions.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Current State of Illinois Registered Professional Nurse license
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate with others
- Strong analytic abilities
- Experience in acute care nursing
