Sr. Quality Technician
The Sr. Quality Technician plays a key role in ensuring that highly engineered custom industrial components meet strict quality and customer requirements. This position operates complex test and measurement equipment, leads inspection activities, and supports continuous improvement across the manufacturing process. The role collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to uphold ISO 9001 standards, maintain robust quality systems, and mentor other quality and production personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct product testing and inspections to ensure quality, performance, and compliance with specifications.
- Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Production, and other teams to resolve quality issues and maintain standards.
- Manage nonconforming materials, NCRs, corrective actions, and calibration programs.
- Perform receiving, in-process, first article, and final inspections while maintaining accurate quality records.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 requirements, quality policies, and audit standards.
- Provide guidance on inspection methods, GD&T interpretation, measurement techniques, and quality best practices.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects, improve processes, and enhance product quality.
- Make accept/reject decisions on materials and products based on inspection results and specifications.
- Serve as a technical resource for quality systems, test equipment, and problem resolution.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Geneva, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $43.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
