Salary Range (depending on experience): $59,000 - $67,000/year
The Business Development Coordinator brings a strategic mindset and a results-driven approach to identifying and capitalizing on growth opportunities. With experience in market analysis, relationship building, and strategic planning, this position drives business expansion and fosters long-term partnerships.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field is required.
Experience:
Five (5) plus years of experience in medical and/or business sales/marketing or related experience is required.
Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Strong strategic thinking and business acumen.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with clinical and multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong organization, project management, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Essential Job Functions:
- Execute on strategies regarding business attraction, business retention and business expansion, recognizing performance improvement opportunities and take action to implement and demonstrate self-motivating skills to complete tasks and meet deadlines.
- Manage internal & external relationships, including serving as a liaison between the organization and referral sources. This includes but is not limited to employers, insurers, and referring physicians.
- Serve as a point of contact and lead for relationship management activities for referral sources.
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of integrated marketing campaigns.
- Represent the organization at marketing, business development, and educational events.
- Assist the marketing team with organizational initiatives, as well as company events.
- Coordinate and attend events to build and maintain key relationships.
- Communicate strategy and results with all stakeholders (staff, physicians, executives, media, etc.).
- Track advertising performance and provide regular reporting on key metrics.
- Maintain strong relationships with community organizations and referral sources to increase brand awareness.
- Support planning and execution of events, sponsor ships, and community outreach initiatives.
