Sales Development Rep/SDR, Sales Representative, Business Development
Job Purpose:
The purpose of the Sales Development Representative is to generate new opportunities for the company by identifying, contacting, and qualifying potential leads for the Account Executives.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize marketing campaigns, cold calls, and email outreach to generate new sales leads.
- Set up meetings or calls between prospective customers and Account Executives.
- Follow up on marketing leads and schedule meetings for Account Executives.
- Qualify, clean and update leads, including but not limited to expired leads.
- Promote corporate events with current and prospective customers.
- Help Account Executives build awareness of new product offerings and create sales leads.
- Ensure a positive customer experience; assist with service issues and follow-up.
- Attain or surpass monthly sales activity goals.
- Ensure sales actively is accurately documented in Sales Chain.
- Attend monthly sales meetings and participate in branch sales events.
- Miscellaneous job duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Associate degree or equivalent experience.
- Ability to generate new business leads.
- Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong computer skills.
- Self-motivated.
- Desire to become a sales professional specializing in business technology solutions.
- Valid driver's license and appropriate auto insurance as dictated by state requirements.
- Access to reliable transportation
- Limited physical effort required. Ability to lift 25 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Previous sales experience.
