POSITION SUMMARY:

Bravida Medical is hiring a Shipping/Receiving Clerk to be accountable for shipping, receiving, and materials management.

As a Shipping/Receiving Clerk, your responsibilities will include:

• Ship orders using SAP software, UPS World Ship, Pacejet, or other carrier's programs.

• Receive material, label, and move material to proper storage location when incoming quality inspection is complete.

• Maintain warehouse location accuracy.

• Order shipping supplies including but not limited to cartons, tape, etc.

• Solve logistics issues. Contact suppliers/carriers to expedite late or critical shipments.

• Work in a cross functional team environment as a strong team player and demonstrate ability to work with other functional groups to achieve company-wide on-time delivery, quality, and profitability goals. Critical thinking skills are a must.

Qualified candidates will have:

1.Education/

Experience:

High School diploma or general education degree (GED), Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse procedures, shipping, receiving, and material management, SAP experience

2.Language Ability:
Ability to read and comprehend detailed instructions, correspondence, and memos; ability to write correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.

3.Math Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.

4.Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions; ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

5.Computer

Skills:

Ability to demonstrate basic Microsoft Windows skills, basic spreadsheet, word processor, and email skills. Ability to be trained on other software as needed for data entry and report generation.

6.Certificate/Licenses:
No certificate or licenses needed unless operating vehicles or equipment such as forklifts requiring a license or certification to operate.

7.Management and

Supervisory Responsibilities:

No direct management or supervisory responsibilities required; the ability to guide, demonstrate, and train others is required.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Travel

Workdays are expected to be 100% on site at the Geneva campus comprised of multiple buildings.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

The primary work environments will be in a typical production, warehouse, and/or office areas on the Geneva campus. Most areas are temperature controlled.

While performing the duties mentioned herein, employees will be frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and equipment, fumes, and/or airborne particulate such as nuisance dust.

The employee will frequently be required to work in controlled environments where gowns, hairnets, and beard and shoe covers will be provided and must be worn.
