As a Contract Coordinator, you'll play a key role in supporting the organization's purchasing and contract management efforts by:
- Managing vendor contracts from renewal through implementation.
- Coordinating contract renewals and maintaining accurate electronic contract records.
- Benchmarking contract proposals and performing pricing analysis.
- Negotiating favorable pricing and contract terms with vendors.
- Tracking and reporting cost savings and operational improvements.
- Managing purchase orders, account ledgers, and contract documentation.
- Researching vendors, products, and services to support departmental initiatives.
- Serving as a primary point of contact for vendor and service inquiries.
- Preparing reports, correspondence, meeting minutes, and other department documentation.
- Supporting department technology and database systems while ensuring accurate and timely data management.
Minimum:
- High School Diploma or GED
Preferred:
- Associate degree (A.A.S.)
- Additional training in computerized management systems
We're looking for someone who has:
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Experience managing multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Outstanding written and verbal communication
- Exceptional customer service experience
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
- Experience working independently with minimal supervision
Preferred:
- Typing speed of 50–60 WPM
- Experience with databases, data entry, reporting, and mathematical analysis, including basic algebra and relational database systems.
